Hand Pulled Limited Edition Serigraph on Paper.

Serigraphy utilizes the silk-screen printing process. For each desired color, a stencil is created indicating w the color will be applied. Then the stencil is add to a silk or nylon mesh screen, and paint of that color is forced through the screen on to the paper. This process creates a luxurious, vibrant and often-textured image.

A serigraph requires a separate silkscreen for each color of the image. Quality silk screen edition prints contain 50 to 100 seperate screens. During the printing process it is usually a day between applying colors to allow for drying time. A print with 75 color screens would take 75 days. The process is lengthy when quality is desired.
